3-29-90 was the best show that I saw live. It's hard for me to say which (if any) shows were true gems as I never attended any shows from my favorite eras. 6-17-91 & 7-7-89 are highly regarded shows but probably not all timers. Happy Holidays Cliff! Just dont go bashing my 2 favorite shows 3-9-81 and 6-27-85.

I attended both 3-9-81 and 6-27-85 as well, unfortunately I dont regard either as highly as you. To each his own, peace!

Hey Billy, I'm with ya on the 3/9/81 show - I was there and possibly stepped on Cliff's toes or elbowed him in the side whilst in a spaztic dancing frenzy. This may have contributed to Cliff's less than pleasant experience of this high powered show. I absolutely love the "Feel Like a Stranger" opener.

I can't believe Cliff wasted $12.50 on this show

Ouch

I rarely paid over $20 for a show once or twice $30. My friend was very organized and almost always got us tickets from the box office or ticketron.

Hey JG, I am green with envy over those ticket stubs. You caught some great shows. I see you saw Jerry at Hofstra in 1981, that must have been a great show. One of my favorite Jerry tapes is from the next day in Glassboro NJ. Saratoga in 1983 was a great show...still waiting for a decent copy to show up. Which Nassau show did you see in 1979? Hopefully it was 1-10-79.

11/2/79 at Nassau - a hidden gem overshadowed by the Cape shows and the (I think overrated) Halloween show.

I have an MP3 of the JGB 81 show. Send me an e-mail and I could mail you a copy.

I forgot about the fall shows there. 10/31/79 is my favorite from that run. Thanks for the offer on the cd but I've got so much Jerry to listen to right now.

Good catch - we couldn't get real tickets to Radio City so opted for the Simulcast - pretty funny - well we had a good time at least . . .hahahah
